(TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 –
(i) temporarily prohibit the waiting and loading of vehicles on Burnside Terr (from Fowler St to James St); Burnside Pl (from Fowler St to School Rd); and Glenogil Gdns (from Mayview Ave to St Ayles Cres).
(ii) temporarily prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on Burnside Pl (from Fowler St to School Rd). The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Fowler St, Burnside Terr and School Rd.
(iii) temporarily prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on Glenogil Gdns (from Mayview Ave to St Ayles Cres). The alternative route for vehicular traffic is via Glenburn Rd, Mayview Rd and Mayview Ave.
The Order is to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 20/04/26 to 08/05/26 or until earlier completion of the works. The closures will be carried out in phases. Phase and alternative routes will be indicated by signage on site as the works progress. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents’ vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained.
