What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026
THE DEEP, PROW 11
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along Public Right of Way Number 11, fronting The Deep, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during the resealing of the glazing roof at the nose of The Deep, building sealing works to external 4th floor viewing Area, and annual cladding and coloured glazing safety inspection works.
The alternative route for pedestrians will be signed.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 31st March 2026, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding six months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated that the works will be completed between 7.30am and 5pm, commencing 31st March 2026 until 30th September 2026.
