WHERE: Road and Footway Closure – Exeter Place for 60m from its junction with Derwent Street Two-way traffic flow – Exeter Place from its junction with Meadow Road for 45m REASON: To enable flood defence works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Road Closure – Derwent Street – On-slip to St Alkmunds Way – King Street – Quaker Way – Garden Street – Kedleston Road – Duffield Road – King Street – St Alkmunds Way – The Underpass – Eastgate – Circumnavigate The Pentagon – Eastgate – Meadow Road. WHEN: 23 March 2026 to 30 March 2026 WHERE: John Street, suspend entire parking bays. REASON: Use of signals for gas works

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON GOODSMOOR ROAD, DERBY

WHEN: 16 March 2026 to 24 April 2026 WHERE: Goodsmoor Road, from its junction with Stenson Road to its junction over the Railway Bridge. REASON: Carriageway reconstruction and surfacing works ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stenson Road – Kenilworth Avenue – Newdigate Street – Sinfin Lane – Wordsworth Avenue and the same in the opposite direction.
