What is happening?

NOTICE OF ORDER HAVING BEEN MADE THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH (TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS) (TAXI RANKS) (AMENDMENT ORDER NO. 2025.2137344 - ROYAL PARADE) ORDER 2026

The Council of the City of Plymouth in exercise of their powers under Sections 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Act and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby have made the above named Order:-

The effect of the order shall be to;

1. Add/Amend the Taxi Rank on Royal Parade
Subject to Schedule 9 Part VI of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or any of the provisions in it on the grounds that the Orders are not within the relevant powers or that any of the relevant requirements or regulations made hereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
