WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC)
(VARIOUS ROADS, WALSALL) ORDER No.3 MARCH 2026


Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding in the lengths of:

 DEVON CRESCENT, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with Brookfield Road to its junction with Sussex Avenue. (09:30 – 15:30) (Monday 16 March 2026).
Reason for Order: Highway maintenance work.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.

 SUSSEX AVENUE, ALDRIDGE that is situated from its junction with B4152 Northgate to its junction with Devon Crescent. (09:30 – 15:30) (Wednesday 18 March 2026).
Reason for Order: Highway maintenance work.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.

 TYNINGS LANE, ALDRIDGE from its junction with A454 Walsall Road its junction with
Birmingham Road. (07:00 on Saturday 28 March 2026 to 17:00 on Sunday 12 April 2026).

 MEADOW ROAD, ALDRIDGE from its junction with Tynings Lane to its junction with Hepburn Close. (07:00 on Saturday 28 March 2026 to 17:00 on Sunday 12 April 2026).

 HEPBURN CLOSE, ALDRIDGE from its junction with Meadow Road for its entire length. (07:00 on Saturday 28 March 2026 to 17:00 on Sunday 12 April 2026).

Reason for Order: New water mains and connections.
Works on behalf of: South Staffordshire Water.

This Order will come into operation on Monday 16 March 2026. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
