LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(VARIOUS LOCATIONS, PRESTON AND SOUTH RIBBLE) (REVOCATION, AMENDMENT AND VARIOUS PARKING RESTRICTIONS (25-26 NO3I)) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4, 45 and 46 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the following:
a) The "Lancashire County Council (Carnfield Place, Bamber Bridge, Duddle Lane And Severn Drive, Walton-Le-Dale, South Ribble Borough)(Prohibition Of Waiting) Order 2012" insofar as it relates to Item 2 from the Schedule.
b) The "Lancashire County Council (Adelaide Street and Primrose Street, Preston, Preston City) (Revocation, Prohibition of Waiting and Loading, Restriction of Waiting and Goods Vehicle Loading) Order 2021" insofar as it relates to Items a), c) and d) of Schedule 3.
c) The "Lancashire County Council (Preston Area) (On Street Parking Places, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Consolidation Order 2009" insofar as it relates to:
i. Item (1) of Schedule 11.005;
ii. Items (54)a) and (60) of Schedule 11.075;
iii. Item (5)a)(iii) of Schedule 11.077;
iv. Item (1) of Schedule 14.02.
d) The "Lancashire County Council (Various Roads, Preston City Area) (Revocation, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Prohibition of Loading, Limited Waiting Parking Places and Disabled Parking Places) Order 2025" insofar as it relates to Item (tt) of Schedule 2.
2. Amend the "Lancashire County Council (Various Roads, South Ribble Borough Area) (Revocation and Introduction of Parking Places) Order 2015" as set out below.
Insert the following into Schedule 2:

3. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) Adelaide Street, Preston, the north east and east side, from a point 15 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Cranborne Street to its junction with the centreline of Primrose Hill;
b) Adelaide Street, Preston, the west side, from its junction with the centreline of Primrose Hill to a point 10 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Cranborne Street;
c) Cranborne Street, Preston, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Adelaide Street for a distance of 20 metres in a north easterly direction;
d) Darwen Street, Preston, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Adelaide Street for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction;
e) Deepdale Road, Preston, the east side, from a point 22 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Deepdale Street for a distance of 36.5 metres in a southerly direction;
f) Deepdale Street, Preston, the south side, from its junction with the centreline of Deepdale Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction;
g) Duddle Lane, Walton le Dale, the west side, from a point 31 metres south of its junction with the centreline of Severn Drive for a distance of 50 metres in a northerly direction;
h) London Road, Preston, the north east side, from its junction with the centreline of Primrose Hill to its junction with the centreline of Montjoly Street;
i) Moorfield Close, Preston, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Parklands Drive for a distance of 20 metres in a northerly direction;
j) Moorfield Close, Preston, the east and north side, from a point 79 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Parklands Drive for a distance of 22 metres in a southerly then easterly direction;
k) Moorfield Close, Preston, the east and south side, from a point 56 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Parklands Drive for a distance of 23 metres in a northerly then easterly direction;
l) Primrose Hill, Preston, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of London Road for a distance of 20 metres in a north easterly direction;
m) Primrose Hill, Preston, both sides, from a point 75 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of London Road for a distance of 28 metres in a north easterly direction.
4. Introduce a prohibition of loading and unloading in the following lengths of road:
a) Adelaide Street, Preston, the north east and east side, from a point 15 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Cranborne Street to its junction with the centreline of Primrose Hill;
b) Adelaide Street, Preston, the west side, from its junction with the centreline of Primrose Hill to a point 10 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Cranborne Street;
c) Darwen Street, Preston, both sides, from its junction with the centreline of Adelaide Street for a distance of 15 metres in an easterly direction;
d) London Road, Preston, the north east side, from its junction with the centreline of Primrose Hill to its junction with the centreline of Montjoly Street;
e) Primrose Hill, Preston, both sides, from a point 75 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of London Road for a distance of 28 metres in a north easterly direction.
5. Introduce a restriction of waiting Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm in the following lengths of road:
a) Moorfield Close, Preston, the east side, from a point 79 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Parklands Drive for a distance of 12 metres in a northerly direction;
b) Moorfield Close, Preston, the east side, from a point 20 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Parklands Drive for a distance of 36 metres in a northerly direction;
c) Moorfield Close, Preston, the west side, from a point 20 metres north of its junction with the centreline of Parklands Drive for a distance of 70 metres in a northerly direction.
6. Introduce a restriction of waiting Monday to Saturday between 7am and 7pm in the following lengths of road:
a) Adelaide Street, Preston, the south west side, from a point 10 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Cranborne Street to a point 27 metres south of its junction with the centreline of New Hall Lane;
b) Primrose Hill, Preston, both sides, from a point 20 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of London Road for a distance of 55 metres in a north easterly direction.
7. Introduce a restriction of waiting Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm in Cranborne Street, Preston, both sides, from a point 20 metres north east of its junction with the centreline of Adelaide Street to its centreline junction with Miller Street.
