LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(GREENSIDE AND HAYDOCKS LANE, PRESTON, PRESTON CITY) (REVOCATION, PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND PROHIBITION OF STOPPING ON SCHOOL KEEP CLEAR MARKINGS) ORDER 202*
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Haydocks Lane, Cottam, Preston City) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2017" in full.
2. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) Greenside, Preston, both sides, from its roundabout junction with Haydocks Lane for a distance of 13 metres in a westerly direction;
b) Haydocks Lane, Preston, the east side, from its roundabout junction with Merry Trees Lane to a point 36.5 metres south of its roundabout junction with Greenside;
c) Haydocks Lane, Preston, the east side, from a point 68.06 metres south of its roundabout junction with Greenside for a distance of 14.5 metres in a southerly direction;
d) Haydocks Lane, Preston, the west side, from a point 85 metres north of its roundabout junction with Cottam Way to its roundabout junction with The Weald.
3. Introduce a prohibition of stopping on school keep clear marking in Haydocks Lane, Preston, the east side, from a point 36.5 metres south of its roundabout junction with Greenside for a distance of 31.56 metres in a southerly direction.
A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Preston City Council, PO Box 10, Town Hall, Lancaster Road, Preston, PR1 2RL and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
