Order 2026

The Council on 27/2/2026 made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, to prohibit all pedestrian traffic from proceeding on the following length of footpath. A 245 metre length of Footpath Number 3, Seaton with Slingley Parish, that extends northwards from its junction with Footpath Number 9, north of the Seaton Bank former railway line, Seaton to enable new major electricity supply cable installation works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to pedestrian traffic during the closure period. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on Friday 13/3/2026 and are anticipated to be completed in 2 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for the closure may be necessary and these will be signed on site accordingly.
