(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland:
• U9533 Hartley Street North from its junction with U9533 U9537 Avenue Road Back Lane heading in a north westward direction for a distance of 50 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd March 2026 until the 25th March 2026 between the hours of 18:00 & 05:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Hartley Street, Park Road, Avenue Road and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.
• U9533 Park Road from its junction with U9533 Hartley Gardens heading in a north westward direction for a distance of 40 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th March 2026 until the 27th March 2026 between the hours of 18:00 & 05:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 2nd April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Avenue Road, The Avenue, Hartley Street North, Hartley Street and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly. The Order is to be effective from the 23rd March 2026 until the 2nd April 2026.

U6704 ALEXANDRA ROAD ASHINGTON
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6704 Alexandra Road Ashington from its junction with Alexandra Road to Fairfield Drive heading in a southerly direction for a length of 250 metres continuing on in a westerly direction for a length of 175 metres in the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 31st March 2026 until the 30th September 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed on the 31st March 2026 between the hours of 09:30 until 15:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 30th September 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being College Road, Sixth Avenue, Alexandra Road and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland.
• U9500 John Street from its point with Hughbourne Street heading in a southerly direction for a length of 50 metres.
• U9500 Hughbourne Street from its point with John Street heading in a easterly direction for a length of 43 metres.
• U9500 John Street Back Lane from its junction with Hughbourne Street heading in a southerly direction for a length of 20 metres.
The Order is to be effective from the 25th March 2026 until the 9th April 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 25th March 2026 until the 26th March 2026 between the hours of 09:00 until 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 9th April 2026.
A signed alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6509 Geps Place Ashington from its junction with Station Road Link Footway heading westwards for a distance of 70 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 16th March 2026 until the 20th April 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th March 2026 until the 20th March 2026 and that the road will be closed at all times during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 20th April 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being via Park View, Geps Place and vice-versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the A197 Rotary Parkway from its junction with Booths Road for a distance of 325 metres in an easterly direction the County of Northumberland.
The Order is to be effective from the 16th March 2026 until the 16th September 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th March 2026 until the 22nd March 2026 between the hours of 20:00 and 06:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until the 16th September 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst the TTRO is in force being A197, A189, A1068, A197 and vice versa and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U6546 Church Lane Bedlington from its point at the entrance of Bedlington Country Park Humford Mill Car Park heading in a north westerly direction for a distance of 950 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 16th March 2026 until the 16th September 2026.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th March 2026 until the 20th March 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 16th September 2026.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic.

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council have made an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections in the County of Northumberland: U9514 Bohemia Terrace from its junction with Plessey Road for a distance of 20 metres in a south-easterly direction. C412 Plessey Road from its junction with Eleventh Avenue for a distance of 54 metres in a north-easterly direction. The Order is to be effective from the 15th March 2026 until the 22nd March 2026.
It is expected that the U9514 Bohemia Terrace will be closed at all times during this period.
It is expected that the C412 Plessey Road will only be closed on the 15th March 2026 and the 22nd March 2026 during this period. However, although the main carriageway will remain open, the side street section of the C412 Plessey Road will remain closed for residential access only.
However, the order will remain in place until the 22nd March 2026.
An alternative route will be available for use whilst that section of the U9514 Bohemia Terrace is closed being Dalmatia Terrace, Arcadia Terrace, Plessey Road and vice versa.
There is no alternative route for vehicular traffic whilst that section of the C412 Plessey Road is closed and should the need arise changes may be made to the alternative routes, where possible these changes will be signposted accordingly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, have made the above-named Order.
The effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 9th March 2026, will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by introducing ‘no waiting at any time’ parking restrictions on sections of Windsor Gardens in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.
The effect of the Order will hereby further modify the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by removing the ‘no waiting’ parking restrictions which are currently in force between 8:00-18:30 on Windsor Gardens in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order. A copy of the Order, together with the maps that form part of the Schedule to the Order and any other relevant documents, notices or Orders as appropriate as well as a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order are available to view or download on the NCC Website:
