PUBLIC NOTICE

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

(U63351 Charles Way, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) rder 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of U63351 Charles Way from its junction with U63350 North End Ln to its junction with U63357 Charles Way Service Rd.

Reason: Footway Reconstruction by WCC.

Alternative route: U63351 Charles Way (part), C2288 Pickersleigh Rd, B4208 North End Ln, U63351 Charles Way (part) and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days (24hrs). Commencing: 23 March 2026.

(U63309 Bellars Lane/U63320 Windrush Crescent/U63319 Wye Avenue/U63318 Teme Avenue/U63317 Hastings Road/ U63310 Eston Avenue/U63313 Wykeham Drive/U63315 Severn Drive, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) Order 2026

Proposed Order: To close that part of:- 1) U63309 Bellars Ln from its junction with U63304 Pound Bank Rd to its junction with U63320 Windrush Cres. 2) U63320 Windrush Cres from its junction with U63319 Wye Ave to its junction with U63318 Teme Ave. 3) U63319 Wye Ave from its junction with U63309 Bellars Ln to its junction with U63317 Hastings Rd. 4) U63318 Teme Ave from its junction with U63319 Wye Ave to its junction with U63323 Hall Green. 5) U63317 Hastings Rd from its junction with U63310 Eston Ave to its junction with U63318 Teme Ave. 6) U63310 Eston Ave from its junction with U63309 Bellars Ln to its junction with B4211 Guarlford Rd. 7) U63313 Wykeham Drive from its junction with U63310 Eston Ave to its junction with U63317 Hastings Rd. 8) U63315 Severn Dr from its junction with U63317 Hastings Rd to its junction with U63313 Wykeham.

Reason: Carriageway patching for surface dressing in civils work over multiple phases by WCC.

Alternative route: U63304 Pound Bank Rd, U63304 Upper Chase Rd, B4211 Barnards Green Rd, B4211 Guarlford Rd, U63323 Hall Green and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 1 day between 23 March 2026 and 2 April 2026.

(C2232 Abbey Road, Malvern) (Temporary Closure) rder 2026

Order made: To close that part of C2232 Abbey Rd from its junction with U63103 Priory Rd to its junction with U63105 College Rd.

Reason: Utility work by Cadent.

Alternative route: C2232 Abbey Rd (part), A449 Wells Rd, B4211 Church St, C2232 Grange Rd and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 3 days. Commencing: 3 March 2026.

EXEMPTIONS: TO PERMIT ACCESS TO ANY LAND OR PREMISES FRONTING THE HIGHWAY AFFECTED WHERE THERE IS NO OTHER FORM OF ACCESS; AND TO ALLOW THE WORKS TO BE UNDERTAKEN.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) Bridleway MV-819, 826, 827, Malvern) (Temporary Closure Order) 2026

Order made: To close the entire length of Bridleway MV-819, 826, 827, Malvern from its junction with U63100 St. Anne’s Road (Grid ref: 377386, 245858) to its junction with Bridleways MV-821 & MV-822 (Grid ref: 377328, 245830) and to its junction with Bridleways MV-822 & MV-825 (Grid ref: 377311, 245812).

The Order has been made due to a collapsed bridleway path.

Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises having a frontage to the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the necessary works to be undertaken.

Alternative route: Bridleway MV-822, 821, 820, B11, U63101 Happy Valley, U63100 St. Anne’s Road and vice versa.

The proposed order will continue in force for a period not exceeding 6 months or until the works which it is proposed to be carried out have been completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the Order will only be operative for 6 months commencing on 2 February 2026.

(B4204 Hanley Broadheath, in Malvern Hills District) (40 mph Speed Limit) (Proposal and Revocation) Order 2026

Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to update the speed limit on the following lengths of roads in Hanley Broadheath to 40 miles per hour:

B4204 Hanley Broadheath: from a point 160 metres northwest of its junction with UC95404 (Bell Lane) in a south easterly direction to a point 95 metres southeast of its junction with C2091.

C2091: from its junction with B4204 for a distance of 21 metres in a northerly direction.

There are exemptions in the Order for Special Forces Vehicles.
