Wiltshire, Multiple Temporary Closures Due To Various Works

What is happening?

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A3095 (Part), Brixton Deverill; from its property known as the Old Rectory to its property known as Manor Farm Cottage to enable Openreach to carry out pole and associated works. Alternative route clockwise light vehicles under 7.5t: via B3095 (unaffected length) – A350 – B3089 – A303 – B3095 (unaffected length). Alternative route anti-clockwise light vehicles under 7.5t: via B3095 (unaffected length) – A303 – A350 – B3095 (unaffected length). Alternative route HGVs over 7.5t: via B3095 (unaffected length) – A350 – A303 – B3095 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 25 March 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 for 1 day. B Bewley Lane (Part), Lacock; from its junction with UC 916904 for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction to enable Wessex Water to carry out water main and associated works. Alternative route via Bewley Lane (unaffected length) – C155 – A342 – UC 916904 – UC 916904 and vice versa. Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: C North Row (Part), Warminster; from its junction with High Street to its property known as No.04 North Row to enable Wessex Water to carry out reinstatement and associated works. Alternative route via North Row (unaffected length) – The Avenue – The Close – Portway – High Street and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 March 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00 for 1 day. D UC 916904 (Part), Lacock; from its junction with Bewley Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly direction to enable Openreach to carry out pole installation, ducting work and other associated works. Alternative route via UC 916904 (unaffected length) – C155 – Bewley Lane and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 02 March 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 for 3 days. E B3106 (Part), Holt; from its junction with B3107 to its junction with B3105 to enable Wales & West Utilities to carry out trial holes and CCTV survey for gas main and associated works. Alternative route via B3105 – B3107 and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 10 November 2025 will now recommence on 02 March 2026 and the closure will be required on 06 March 2026. For further information please contact Wales & West Utilities Ltd on 0800 912 2999. Orders A) to D) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Order E) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.

SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 70 (Part), Trowbridge; from its property known as No.06 St Thomas Passage to its property known as No.12 St Thomas Passage to enable renewal of stop tap, resite meter and associated works. Alternative route via Arch Yard – Timbrell Yard – St Thomas Road – St Thomas Passage and vice versa. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 02 March 2026 and it is anticipated that the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00 until 04 March 2026. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months. SECTION 14(1) OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all users: Footpath 7 (Part), Heytesbury; from its property known as Mill Farm for a distance of approximately 20m in a north westerly direction to enable repair of bridge deck. No alternative route is available. The closure will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This closure which follows an emergency notice will come into operation on 06 March 2026 and the closure will be required until 04 September 2026. Access will be maintained where possible although delays are likely due to the nature of the works. The Order will have a maximum duration of 6 months.
