The Isle of Wight Council (Southford Lane, Whitwell, Isle of Wight) (Temporary Road Closure) Order No 1 2026

Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 27 February 2026 and Friday 10 April 2026 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 10 days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works, and any associated pre works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following roads: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include carriageway and footway reconstruction, resurfacing works, reflective stud work and lining works. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 27 February 2026 and Friday 24 April 2026 the following roads will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to 33 days or nights within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable footway Maintenance works, and any associated pre works, to be undertaken.
