(Temporary Closure) Order 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to temporarily close Public Footpath 165 in Middleton-On-Sea from its junction with Kingsmead Road northwards to its junction with the A259.
The closure of this route is needed due to a broken footbridge. The Order continues the operation of a previously issued emergency notice and will come into effect on 5 March 2026. Once made, the Order may remain in force for up to 6 months, or until repairs are completed, whichever is earlier.
Unfortunately, no direct alternative route is available via the public rights of way network.
