(B3254 From Dolsdon Farm To Bennacott Lake, Boyton, Launceston) (Temporary Speed Restriction and Stopping) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 9th March 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a speed restriction of 10 MPH of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston for approximately 754 metres. This restriction is necessary for carriageway repair works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th March 2026 to 27th March 2026. Road subject to restriction - B3254 From Dolsdon Farm To Bennacott Lake, Boyton, Launceston between properties known as Bennacott Chapel and Bennacott Lake. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th March 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 19th January 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Poughill Road, Poughill, Bude between the junctions with Ocean View Road and Creathorne Road and Creathorne Road, Flexbury, Bude between property number 9 and the junction with Poughill Road. The Order which commenced on the 20th January 2026 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 13th March 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed because gas mains replacement works are being executed on or near the road. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 9th March 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for pole testing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th March 2026, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekends included. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston. This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th April 2026 to 10th April 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected -Penhole Road, Coads Green, Launceston between properties known as Penhole House and Penhole Farm. An alternative route will be signed on site. Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude. This prohibition is necessary for pole replacement works and it is expected that the closure will be from 6th April 2026, for one day. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0930 and 1530, weekends included. Road affected - Killerton Road, Bude between the junctions with Silverton Road and Holnicote Road. An alternative route will be signed on site.
