ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland
County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. This is in accordance with section 15(8) of said Act and Regulation 7 of The Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992 in that the following restrictions will continue to be in force:
Temporary Road Closure:
The U3124 Hope House Lane in Alnwick from it’s junction with Lisburn Street heading in a southerly direction for a length of 170 metres (“the “Road”) in the County of Northumberland shall continue to be prohibited because works are continuing to be executed on or near the road due to major gas replacement works by British Gas.
An alternative route shall be available and will be signposted accordingly.

This Order came into force on the 1st March 2026 and will remain in force until the 10th April 2026.
