PUBLIC PATH DIVERSIONAND DEFINITIVE MAP

AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2026

The above order was made on 10 February 2026. The effect of the order will be to divert that part of public footpath Dewsbury 146 having a width of 1.2 metres and shown on the order plan by a bold black line commencing at its junction with Chidswell Lane at point A on the order plan at grid reference SE 2674 2287 and proceeding in a south easterly direction for 27 metres to point B on the order at grid reference SE 2676 2285 to a new line having a width of 2 metres and shown on the order plan by bold black dashes commencing on Chidswell Lane at point C on the order plan at grid reference SE 2674 2285 and proceeding in an easterly direction for 22 metres to point B on the order plan at grid reference SE 2676 2285.

Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to Harry Garland, Kirklees Council Legal Services, PO Box 1720, Huddersfield HD1 9ELno later than 02April 2026. You should quote reference HG/D112-352 and state the grounds on which your objection/representation is made.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn Kirklees Council may itself confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with this order.
