PROPOSED NORTH EAST DERBYSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AND CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 2026
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North East Derbyshire District Council proposes, with the consent of Derbyshire County Council, to make the North East Derbyshire District Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) (Amendment No.1) Order 2026 (“the Amendment No.1 Order”) under Section 32, 35 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984. This notice is given in accordance with the Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (England and Wales) Regulation 1996. The Amendment No.1 Order will amend the (Off- Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement and Consolidation) Order 2009 (“the Principal Order”)
The Amendment No.1 Order relates to off street car parks owned by North East Derbyshire District Council and shall come into effect from 1st April 2026
The effect of the Amendment No.1 Order is summarised as follows:
1. The removal of Sharley Park Leisure Centre Car Park, Clay Cross from the Principle Order
2. The removal of No.1 Market Street Car Park, Clay Cross from the Principle Order
3. The High Street Car Park, Clay Cross is to be regulated under the Amendment No.1 Order
4. The Clay Cross Active Car Park, Clay Cross is to be regulated under the Amendment No.1 Order
A copy of the Order may be inspected at District Council Office, 2013 Mill Lane, Wingerworth, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S42 6NG during normal office hours Monday to Friday
Any person wishing to object to the proposals or to make comments should forward objections or comments together with reasons, in writing to Engineers, NEDDC, District Council Office, 2013 Mill Lane, Wingerworth, Chesterfield, Derbyshire S42 6NG or online to

engineers@ne-derbyshire.gov.uk

before 26th March 2026
