THE DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (A53 MANCHESTER ROAD,
GEORGE STREET, BUXTON) (PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS
OF MOVEMENT) TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council proposed to make the above-named Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be, in respects of roads in Buxton, in the borough of High Peak, is as follows:
TO PROHIBIT LEFT TURN, ON THE FOLLOWING ROAD(S):
A53 Manchester Road, Buxton
South-westbound side
At its junction with George Street, Buxton.
TO PROHIBIT RIGHT TURN, ON THE FOLLOWING ROAD(S):
A53 Manchester Road, Buxton
North-eastbound side
At its junction with George Street, Buxton.
George Street, Buxton
Northbound side
At its junction with A53 Manchester Road, Buxton.
TO PROHIBIT ENTRY, TO THE FOLLOWING ROAD(S):
George Street, Buxton
From A53 Manchester Road at its junction with George Street Buxton.
Any permanent Traffic Regulation Orders made prior to this Order, insofar as they relate to the lengths of road listed above, have been revoked.
A copy of the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are available for inspection at the County Council’s principal offices known as County Hall on Smedley Street in Matlock, Buxton Library, Kents Bank Rd, Buxton SK17 9HW, during opening hours and on request by emailing place.permanentTRO
