What is happening?

Borough of Telford & Wrekin

The Council has made the Borough of Telford & Wrekin Holyhead Road, Mill Bank, Watling Street, Wellington and Dawley Road, Arleston (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whilst highway improvement works are being undertaken. The order becomes operational from the 5/3/26 between the hours of 19:00pm and 5:00am. The following roads are affected: Holyhead Rd, from its jcn with Mill Bank for approx. 35m in a south westerly direction. Mill Bank from its jcn with Holyhead Rd for approx. 40m in a north westerly direction. Watling St from its jcn with Dawley Rd for approx. 20m in a north easterly direction. Dawley Rd from its jcn with Watling St for approx. 25m in a south easterly direction. The maximum duration is 18 months, but the works are expected to be completed by the 6/3/26.
Alternative routes will be signed on site.
