What is happening?

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC) (VARIATION NO 7) ORDER 2026   - TO/R5.3.173

Midlothian Council on 2 March 2026 made the above Order, which comes into force on 23 March 2026. The effect is to apply double yellow line waiting restrictions on sections of Easter Langside Gardens, Dalkeith.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION ON WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING ETC) (VARIATION NO 8) ORDER 2026     - TO/R5.3.176

Midlothian Council on 2 March 2026 made the above Order, which comes into force on 23 March 2026. The effect is to make two existing ‘Disabled’ parking bays at Ironmills Park, Dalkeith enforceable.

Midlothian Council on 2 March 2026 made the above Order, which comes into force on 23 March 2026. The effect is to extend double yellow line waiting restrictions at Gowkley Moss, Penicuik. * * * * *

Anyone wishing to question the validity of any Order or of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act, or that a requirement of such Act or of any relevant regulation has not been complied with, may within six weeks from 2 March 2026 apply for this purpose to the Court of Session.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (A703 SEAFIELD MOOR ROAD, BILSTON) (TEMPORARY FOOTWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026  - TTRO/R 5.4.324

Notice is hereby given that Midlothian Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is that for a temporary period to facilitate footway widening works, the footway on A703 Seafield Moor Road will be closed between Seafield Road and Charles Wilson Avenue. The Order has effect on 6 March 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 12 April 2026.The alternative route for pedestrians will be clearly sign posted.

THE MIDLOTHIAN COUNCIL (BONNYRIGG ROAD, ESKBANK, DALKEITH) (TEMPORARY PARKING SUSPENSION WITH WAITING, LOADING AND UNLOADING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026  - TTRO/R 5.4.323

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Midlothian Council has made a temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, prohibiting parking, waiting, loading and unloading on Bonnyrigg Road, Eskbank, Dalkeith from the junction with Westfield Park to A7 Eskbank Road roundabout. The Order shall have effect on 9th March 2026 and shall remain in force up to and including 29th March 2026. The restrictions are necessary to facilitate the resurfacing the footways on Bonnyrigg Road.
