(VARIATION NO.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers in support of the wider ‘Access to Banbury Train Station’ project (i.e. Tramway Road improvements). Specifically, the proposals comprise of the following measures on Station Approach Road (South): 1. I ntroduction of a short-stay parking area (approx. 15.5 metres in length) providing accommodation for 6 vehicles with accompanying ‘30minute parking on all days, No return within 1 hour’ restriction, to be located adjacent to the southwest side of the main carriageway, approx. 15 metres southeast of its roundabout junction with Tramway Road/Station Approach Road (North).

2. Provision of a new ‘30minute Disabled Persons Parking Place on all days, No return within 1 hour’’ with a 1.2 buffer to allow for ease of access/entry, to be located at the northernmost end of the above parking area.

3. New ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ (double yellow lines) will also be introduced around the parking area, ensuring that parking is only available within the marked bays.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Various Roads – Cherwell) (Map Based) (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Permitted Parking) Order 2021 will be further amended, updating Map Tile: ‘AS55’ in the process.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by the end of 03 April 2026. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public. ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – SECTION 14(1)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order

Deddington, Hudson Street

Prohibition of Through Traffic Date of Order: 2/3/2026

Coming into force: 9/3/2026

This Order is being introduced because of water mains replacement works which are anticipated to take until 20/4/2026 to complete. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Hudson Street at its junction with High Street. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4031, Hopcraft Lane, St Thomas Street, A4260 and Vice Versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T17026/RMF)

Bloxham, Rose Bank

Prohibition of Through Traffic

Date of Order: 23 March 2026

Coming into force: 30 March 2026

This Order is being introduced because of building damage to dormer roof requiring repair using scaffolding on highway to allow access. The works are anticipated to be completed 8 April 2026. This is a 24 hour daily road closure. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Rose Bank from Little Bennetts to Bryher Cottage. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. Access will be maintained for cyclists and pedestrians. The alternative route for traffic is via The Ridgeway, Chapel Street and then on Humber Street and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref: T17625/AC)
