TRAFFIC ORDER
On 02/03/2026 the Council made The Angus Council (Farmers’ Market, Montrose) (Temporary Prohibition of Driving and Waiting) Order 2026 under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purposes of minimising danger to the public attending or participating in the Farmers’ Market in Montrose. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit the driving and waiting of vehicles on High Street, Montrose over the entire length of the east side on-street car parking area situated directly north of the Town House between the hours of 7am and 3pm on, 07/03/26, 04/04/26, 02/05/26, 06/06/26, 04/07/26, 01/08/26, 05/09/26, 03/10/26, 07/11/26, 05/12/26 and 06/02/27. Access for pedestrians and emergency vehicles will be maintained. There is no alternative route. Full details of the order are available for viewing at www.angus.gov.uk/trafficorders.
