U2026 CRUMSTONE SEAHOUSES

(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat Northumberland County Council intends to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on that section of the U2026 Crumstone Seahouses from the gable end of number 20 Crumstone heading in a south easterly direction for a length of 60 metres in the County of Northumberland. The Order is to be effective from the 23rd March 2026 until the 27th April 2026.

It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 23rd March 2026 until the 10th April 2026 between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 during this period; however, the order will remain in place until 27th April 2026.

There is no alternative route available. Enquiries should be made to Northumberland County Council’s Contact Centre 0345 600 6400 or at https://one.network (enter the road number and road name). – Ref: 147566643. The closure has been requested by Northumbrian Water to excavate to carry out sewer repair works and reinstate. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.

CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 VARIATION ORDER 42

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County

Council, in exercise of the powers conferred under sections 1 to 4, 32, 35, 45 and 46, 61 and 64 (as appropriate) and Part IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other powers so enabling, have made the above-named Order.

The effect of the Order, which will come into force on the 9th March 2026 will be to vary the “Northumberland County Council (Waiting, Loading & Parking Places) (Map Based) Consolidation Order 2024” by extending the existing ‘no waiting at any time’ parking restrictions on sections of Middle Drive in Ponteland.

The restrictions can also be viewed in map format, as the maps form part of the map-based schedule to the Order. A copy of the Order, together with the maps that form part of the Schedule to the Order and any other relevant documents, notices or Orders as appropriate as well as a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order are available to view or download on the NCC Website:
