Herefordshire, Multiple Temporary Road Closures for Patching Works

What is happening?

Notice of Making

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order:

BB Patching Works Mar 26 (26-320) Temporary Road Closure Order 2026

to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the the roads shown in schedule 1 of the Order. Diversion routes will be signposted locally and published online at One.Network.

The said closures are required due to patching and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place.

The said Order will come into force on the 5th March 2026 and will remain for a maximum period of 18 months, (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State for Transport) or until any said proposed works completed, (whichever is the earlier), or until determined by Herefordshire Council. However the programme of works are expected to be completed within 4 weeks approximately. Definitive dates & times will be notified by on-site advanced warning signs, but each road is expected to be closed for durations shown in Schedule 1 of the Order.
