Crescent Road & Firgrove Road, North Baddesley, Test Valley - Temporary Road Closures due to gas mains replacement
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED: Crescent Road between its junction with Rownhams Lane and a point approximately 50 Metres North-East of said junction. Firgrove Road between its junction with Rownhams Lane and its junction with Firgrove Close.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES: Rownhams Lane, Firgrove Road, Upper Crescent Road Upper Crescent Road, Crescent Road, Rownhams Lane
DURATION OF ORDER: from 16th March 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 11 weeks, and in operation for 24 hours a day. Only one closure will be in place at any one time).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for JDT Utilities to carry out gas mains replacement works.
