Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Stoke Abbott

DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VARIOUS ROADS, STOKE ABBOTT; NORWAY LANE, STOKE ABBOTT between its junction with B3162 and its junction with Village Street, a distance of approximately 1210 metres. These works are programmed to commence from 16 March 2026 until 27 March 2026.

VILLAGE STREET, STOKE ABBOTT between Church House and Long Hayes, a distance of approximately 390 metres. These works are programmed to commence from 30 March 2026 until 01 May 2026.

The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 16 March 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 01 May 2026.

This Order will enable Wessex Internet, safe access to carry out fibre cable installation.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Coombe Street, Lyme Regis

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along COOMBE STREET, LYME REGIS between its junction with Mill Lane and Gosling’s Bridge, a distance of approximately 130 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 02 March 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 March 2026.

This Order will enable LD Renovate, to carry out property repairs and renovation.

An alternative route will be signed using; Monmouth Street - A3052 - B3165 - Hill Road

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.

The general effect of the order will be to introduce new no waiting at any time restrictions along lengths of Magdalen Lane, Bridport.

All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VARIOUS ROADS, BROADWINDSOR; COMMON WATER LANE, BROADWINDSOR from 09 March 2026 until 13 March 2026.

B3162 (BACK LANE), BROADWINDSOR from 16 March 2026 until 20 March 2026.

B3164 (HIGH STREET), BROADWINDSOR from 23 March 2026 until 27 March 2026.

B3164 (WEST STREET), BROADWINDSOR from 13 April 2026 until 16 April 2026.
