ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14

CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

LOW LANE, CLAYTON, BRADFORD

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Low Lane, Clayton, Bradford intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Low Lane from its junction with Holts Lane to its junction with Cockin Lane.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Low Lane (unaffected section), Town End Road, the Avenue, Baldwin Lane, Scarlett Heights, Sand Beds, Albert Road, Thornton Lane, Carter Lane, Cockin Lane and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 08:00 hours on the 7th March 2026 and remain in force until 18:00 hours on the 15th March 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
