What is happening?

Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
THANET AREA
A299 Royal Harbour Approach, Ramsgate, CT11 0NH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A299 Royal Harbour Approach, Ramsgate, on or after 10th March 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed the entire length, between the hours of 08:30 and 18:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via A255 Canterbury Road East, A255 Nethercourt Circus Roundabout, B2054 London Road, B2054 Grange Road, B2054 St Augustines Road, B2054 Paragon, B2054 Royal Parade, Military Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
All Saints Avenue & Grove Gardens, Margate, CT9 5RW (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow gas works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of All Saints Avenue & Grove Gardens, Margate, on or after 23rd March 2026 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
All Saints Avenue will be closed at the junction of Grove Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via All Saints Avenue, Argyle Avenue, B2052 George V Avenue, Wellis Gardens and vice versa.
Grove Gardens will be closed at the junction of All Saints Avenue, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Grove Road, B2052 George V Avenue, Argyle Avenue, All Saints Avenue and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Bellevue Road, Ramsgate, CT11 8PU (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bellevue Road, Ramsgate, on or after 9th March 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Flat 1, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Bellevue Road, Augusta Road, B2054 Victoria Parade, B2054 Victoria Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Park Road, Birchington, CT7 9DX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow fibre works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Park Road, Birchington, on or after 23rd March 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside number 14 to outside number 34, between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 only, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Park Road, Shottendane Road, B2050 Manston Road, B2050 Park Lane, A28 The Square, A28 Canterbury Road, Charlesworth Drive, The Parkway and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Plains Of Waterloo, Ramsgate, CT11 8JF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Plains Of Waterloo, Ramsgate, on or after 23rd March 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 63, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Plains Of Waterloo, B2054 Wellington Crescent, B2054 Victoria Parade, B2054 Victoria Road, Bellevue Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
Thanet Road, Broadstairs, CT10 1JQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026
To allow water works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Thanet Road, Broadstairs, on or after 23rd March 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 31, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Prospect Road, Prospect Place, Thanet Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
