Fylde Borough Council - Licence Fees For Both Hackney Carriage And Private Hire Vehicles

LICENCE FEES - HACKNEY CARRIAGE AND PRIVATE HIRE VEHICLES

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 70 of the Local
Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 that Fylde Borough
Council proposes to vary the licence fees for both hackney carriage and
private hire vehicles and for private hire operators as set out in the following
table:-

A copy of the above Notice will be available for inspection without payment
from the undersigned during normal office hours for a period of 28 days from
the date of this Notice.
Any person objecting to the variation should make their objection in writing to
the undersigned not later than 28 days from the date of this notice and give
full reasons for their objection. If no objection is duly made during the above
period or if all objections so made are withdrawn the variation shall come into
force on 1st April 2026 or the date of withdrawal of the objection or, if more
than one, of the last objection, whichever date is the later.
If objection is duly made and is not withdrawn, the Council shall set a further
date, not later than two months after 1st April 2026 on which the variation
shall come into force with or without modification as decided by the Council
after consideration of the objections.
