What is happening?
PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(ROSEMARY CRESCENT WEST) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding along Rosemary Crescent West at its junction with Sutherland Road.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, it is anticipated that the road closure will be in place from 09:30 until 14:30 on the 9 March 2026 only (approximately).
The vehicular diversion route is: Rosemary Crescent West, Jeremy Road, Sutherland Road vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate the repair or replacement
of a dangerous manhole frame and cover by Severn Trent
Water.
