(THTTC4039 WEST TOWN LANE, NEMPNETT THRUBWELL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of West Town Lane, Nempnett Thrubwell from its junction with Butcombe Lane extending south to a point outside Butcombe Farm. USRN: 47920328.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to carry out a pole test on the 16th March 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30-15:30hrs. 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: West Town Lane (remainder) – Greenhouse Lane – Nempnett Street – Awkward Hill – Chapel Hill – West Town Lane – vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Gladstone Street, Welton, Midsomer Norton from a point outside property number 14 extending west to a point outside property number 19. USRN: 47903378.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Openreach to construct a carriageway number 4 box and to lay 5m of duct in carriageway on the 2nd March 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FIVE DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to:

• Close temporarily to pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders that length of Manor Road, Saltford from its junction with Longwood Lane extending west to its junction with Montague Road. USRN: 47961355.

• Close temporarily to pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders that length of Footpath Manor Road to Montague Road, Saltford from its junction with Montague Road extending south to its junction with Manor Road. USRN: 47920527.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road/footpath to enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works on the 2nd March 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road/footpath will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 09:30-15:00hrs.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bath & North East Somerset Council to carry out drainage improvement works to remove highway flooding from the 16th March 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS between 09:30-15:00hrs.
