Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:

(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BURGH CASTLE – Mill Road from its junction with Butt Lane for 260m eastwards to facilitate tree cutting and cabling works between 09:30 and 15:30 from 2nd to 3rd March 2026 (max continue until 14th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, High Road, Butt Lane. The works promoter is BT.

COLBY AND BANNINGHAM – A) B1145 North Walsham Road from its junction with U14235 Church Road to its junction with U14238 Tuttington Road and B) U14237 Colby Road from its junction with B1145 North Walsham Road for 10m northwards to facilitate carriageway patching repairs from 3rd to 4th March 2026 (may continue until 15th April 2026). CROMER – A) Bond Street from its junction with A149 Mount Street for 40m northwards and B) Bond Street from its junction with A149 Church Street for 15m southwards and C) Bond Street from its junction with A149 Church Street for 44m southwards and D) Bond Street from its junction with A149 Church Street for 44m southwards to facilitate new electrical service connection works. The road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and; traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road B shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload and; traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road C shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (northbound); and the Road D shall be temporarily subject to the imposition of a one-way system (southbound) and the effect of this is that vehicles of any class will only be allowed to travel in a southerly direction from 2nd to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). GIMINGHAM – Hall Road from its junction with C295 Church Street for 50m westwards to facilitate repair of a leaking sluice valve from 2nd to 4th March 2026 (may continue until 15th April 2026). Alternative route is via: C295 Church Street, C289 Southrepps Road, Hall Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD – C442 Middle Road from its junction with Hare Road to its junction with Toad Lane to facilitate carriageway patching on 2nd March 2026 (may continue until 13th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Middle Road, Green Lane North, Plumstead Road, Reeves Corner, Broad Lane, Hare Road (Thorpe St. Andrew, Great and Little Plumstead). HAINFORD – U57104 Stratton Road from its junction with Chequers Meadow to its junction with Pollard Road to facilitate footway kerb repairs from 4th to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). HEMPSTEAD – C622 The Street from its junction with U14350 Chapel Lane for 20m northwards to facilitate the installation of new water connection from 2nd to 4th March 2026 (may continue until 15th April 2026). Alternative route is via: C622 The Street/Maripits Lane, School Lane, Ash Tree Lane, C300 Baconsthorpe Road/Hempstead Road (Hempstead, Baconsthorpe). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

HOLT – B1149 Norwich Road from its junction with C267 Hunworth Road to its junction with U14273 Rookery Lane to facilitate carriageway repairs from 4th to 5th March 2026, (may continue until 16th April 2026). OVERSTRAND – Pauls Lane from its junction with C634 Cromer Road to its junction with Hillington Park to facilitate gas main upgrade works from 2nd to 13th March 2026 (may continue until 24th April 2026). STOKESBY WITH HERRINGBY – C449 Filby Road from its joining with Stokesby with Herringby Footpath 2 for 150m south-westwards to facilitate pole test and tree cutting works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). SWANNINGTON WITH ALDERFORD AND LITTLE WITCHINGHAM – U57151 Church Farm Lane from its junction with Springwell Lane to its junction with Reepham Road to facilitate carriageway repair works on 2nd March 2026 (may continue until 13th April 2026). DEREHAM – A) U30125 Church Street from its junction with C540 Market Place for 59m westwards and B) C540 Market Place from its junction with U30125 Church Street for 199m northwards to facilitate bus stop upgrade, zebra crossing installation and moving of disabled bays works from 2nd to 20th March 2026 (may continue until 1st May 2026). Alternative route is via: Road B: Clockwise – C553 Wellington Road/Neatherd Road, C585 Matsell Way/Station Road, C584 London Road, C541 London Road, C540 High Street. DEREHAM – A) U30125 St Withburga Lane from its junction with U30125 Church Street to its junction with U30188 Washbridge and B) U30125 Church Street from its junction with C540 Market Place to its junction with U30125 St Withburga Lane to facilitate moving of disabled bay and carriageway resurfacing, traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road A shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (southwestbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both a north-easterly and south-westerly direction and traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road B shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload from 2nd to 20th March 2026 (may continue until 1st May 2026). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

DISS – U71343 Shelfanger Court from its junction with B1077 Shelfanger Road for 40m eastwards to facilitate renewal of a telecommunications frame and cover from 4th to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). The works promoter is BT. Alternative route: N/A. NB: Please note that a gateman will be on site to assist for access to affected properties.

GARBOLDISHAM – U33160 Smallworth Common from its junction with U33161 Smallworth Common for 20m westwards to facilitate electrical works from 08:00 on 2nd March 2026 to 18:00 on 8th March 2026, (may continue until 19th April 2026). Alternative route is via: B1111 The Street, A1066 Diss Road. The works promoter is UK Power Networks.

HOE AND WORTHING – C214 Gorgate Road from its junction with B1110 Holt Road for 100m westwards to facilitate BT duct installation between 09:30 and 15:30 on 3rd March 2026 (may continue until 14th April 2026). KENNINGHALL – C791 Heath Road from 760m east of its junction with C870 Lopham Road for 30m eastwards to facilitate works for a new water connection from 1st March 2026 to 2nd March 2026 (may continue until 14th April 2026). LODDON – C395 High Bungay Road from 15m south of its junction with U71314 Gunton Road for 70m northwards to facilitate drainage works from 2nd to 13th March 2026 (may continue until 24th April 2026). MATTISHALL – A) C198 South Green from 15m north of its junction with U35013 Tynnes Lane for 30m southwards and B) U35013 Thynnes Lane from its junction with C198 South Green for 20m westwards to facilitate installation of a new BT service from 09:30 until 15:30 on 2nd March 2026 (may continue until 13th April 2026). THETFORD – A) U30420/18 St Giles Lane from 25m west of its junction with Earls Street for 25m westwards and B) U30420/18 St Giles Lane from its junction with Earls Street for 84m westwards and C) U30420/22 St Giles Lane from its junction with Earls Street for 110m westwards to facilitate new customer service works. The Road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and Road B shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (eastbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction and Road C shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (westbound) to allow vehicles to travel in both an easterly and westerly direction between 09:30 and 15:30 on 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). WYMONDHAM – C164 Cavick Road from its junction with U78298 Ladys Lane for 182m westwards to facilitate cabling works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 3rd March 2026 (may continue until 14th April 2026).
