Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, hereby give notice that:
(i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:
BURGH CASTLE – Mill Road from its junction with Butt Lane for 260m eastwards to facilitate tree cutting and cabling works between 09:30 and 15:30 from 2nd to 3rd March 2026 (max continue until 14th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, High Road, Butt Lane. The works promoter is BT.

The road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and; traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road B shall be temporarily prohibited to park, stop, load, and/or unload and; traffic (constituting any class of vehicle) over the Road C shall be temporarily subject to the suspension of the one-way system (northbound); and the Road D shall be temporarily subject to the imposition of a one-way system (southbound) and the effect of this is that vehicles of any class will only be allowed to travel in a southerly direction from 2nd to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). GIMINGHAM – Hall Road from its junction with C295 Church Street for 50m westwards to facilitate repair of a leaking sluice valve from 2nd to 4th March 2026 (may continue until 15th April 2026).
