(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
(DYSON LANE, RIPPONDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Dyson Lane from outside Ash Terrace to outside No. 6 Dyson Lane for a distance of approximately 65 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained via the diversion route. The alternative route is via the unaffected part of Dyson Lane, Oldham Road, Rochdale Road, the unaffected part of Dyson Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(NORLAND TOWN ROAD, SOWERBY BRIDGE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Norland Town Road from Norland Town House to Fallingworth Croft for a distance of approximately 160 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained via the diversion route. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Norland Town Road, London Road, Moor End Lane, Stormer Hill Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 4th March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SUTCLIFFE WOOD LANE, HIPPERHOLME)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Spectrum Comms Solutions Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sutcliffe Wood Lane from 1 Woodnook to Braeside for a distance of approximately 130 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained via the diversion route. The alternative route is via Station Road, Tanhouse Hill, A58 Halifax Road, A644 Brighouse Road, A644 Halifax Road, unaffected part of Sutcliffe Wood Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(HEATH ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Heath Road from junction with Linden Road to junction with Free School Lane for a distance of approximately 89 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Skircoat Green Road, Skircoat Moor Road, Savile Park, Free School Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd March 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00 & 06:00.
(DEVON STREET, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Devon Street from No. 127 Parkinson Lane to No.1 for a distance of approximately 2 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 3rd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 4th March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(AKROYD PLACE, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Octavius Infrastructure Ltd, have made an Order the effect of which will be suspend parking in the length of Akroyd Place from the junction of North Parade to A58 Burdock Way Overbridge for a distance of approximately 90 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The parking shall be suspended whilst works take place. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 3rd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 24th March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(SAVILE PARK ROAD, HALIFAX)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Savile Park Road from No. 136 to junction with Arden Road for a distance of approximately 42 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Savile Park Road, Savile Road, Prescott Street, Skircoat Road, Heath Road, Free School Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 20th March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Byron Street from No. 5 to No. 7 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Byron Street, Saxton Street, Battinson Road and vice versa. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via A629 Keighley Road, Per Lane, Lane Head Lane. The alternative route is via A629 Keighley Road, Per Lane, Lane Head Lane. PENNINE WAY & FOOTPATH WADSWORTH P001, WALSHAW DEAN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by J N Bentley intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Pennine Way & Footpath Wadsworth P001 from Footpath Wadsworth P009 to Walshaw Dean Middle Reservoir spillway for a distance of 1400 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. For alternative route follow Footpath Wadsworth 005 and Footpath Wadsworth 009 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 29th May 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(ADAM STREET, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Adam Street from side of No. 9 Harley Street to junction with Blind Lane for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Harley Street, Victoria Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(BLIND LANE, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Utility Services Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Blind Lane from junction with Adam Street to outside sub station (adjacent to No.39) for a distance of approximately 25 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via West Street, Burnley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd April 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(FEATHERBED LANE, WEST VALE)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Poletek Communications Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Featherbed Lane from junction with Workhouse Lane to rear of No. 17 for a distance of approximately 66 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Workhouse Lane, Featherbed Close, Green Lane, Hullen Edge Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 18th March 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.
(CASTLE LANE, TODMORDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Castle Lane from junction with Halifax Lane for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Halifax Road, Phoenix Street, Shakespeare Avenue and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st March 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
(HALIFAX LANE, LUDDENDEN)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Halifax Lane from junction with Highfield Road to High Street for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Stocks Lane, Buttress Lane, Birch Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 18th March 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st March 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.
