(Public Footpath No. 19 (Part) in the Parish of Middlewich)
Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrians Order 2026
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 19 Middlewich which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7187 6552 and runs in a generally south east direction for approx. 685m. OSGR SJ 7245 6524.
The closure is necessary to protect the public from dangers posed by road construction works on or near the Public Right of Way
The Order will come into force on 16th March 2026 and will continue in force for a period of six months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.
An alternative route is available on site.
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 (1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians on the following:
That length of Public Footpath No. 22 Middlewich which commences at OS grid reference (OSGR) SJ 7135 6647 and running in a generally southeast direction before curving in an arc to a north direction for a distance of approx. 346m OSGR SJ 7157 6630.
This closure is necessary to protect the public from dangers posed by road construction works on or near the Public Right of Way
The Order will come into force on 16th March 2026 and will continue in force for a period of six months, or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
