PUBLIC NOTICE
THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPLE STREET) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Temple Street adjacent to property 16.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 25 February 2026 until 27 February 2026.
The diversion route is: Snow Hill, A4150 Ring Road St Johns, Penn Road Island, School Street, Pitt Street, Worcester Street, Temple Street, Summer Row, Cleveland Street.
The Order is required to facilitate a new service connection by Severn Trent Water.
