Multiple Roads, Hambledon, Winchester - Temporary Road Closure due to utility works
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Cams Hill between its junction with West Street and its junction with East Hoe Road. Menslands Road between its junction with Cams Hill and continuing to a point 100 metres South on Menslands Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: West Street, Bent Lane, Hoe Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Thursday 12th March 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 4 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
