NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days,

to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as

amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect

of which:

Mildenhall Road A1101, Littleport

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10139

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Mildenhall Road A1101,

Littleport as lies between New River Bank & Cross Bank. The alternative

route for vehicles is via A1101; A1065; B1112; A134; A10 & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate grip recutting & associated

works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come

into operation on 17/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or

on the 16/9/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works

will be carried out between 09:00hrs & 15:00hrs 17/3 to 20/3/26.

Mill Street B1104, Isleham

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10272

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Mill Street B1104, Isleham

as lies between Fordham Road & West Street. The alternative route for

vehicles is via B1104; B1382; Queen Adelaide Wy, Ely; Stuntney Causeway;

A142; B1102; B1104 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to

facilitate gully maintenance & associated works which are being carried

out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 5/3/26 &

continue until these works have finished or on the 4/9/27 whichever is

the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between

5/3 & 6/3/26.

North Street C221, Burwell

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10297

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along North Street C221, Burwell as

lies between outside Nos. 59 & 65. The alternative route for vehicles is via

North St; Toyse Lane; B1102; The Causeway & vice versa. The proposed

Order is necessary to facilitate telecom maintenance & associated works

which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into

operation on 2/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on

the1/9/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will

be carried out between 2/3 & 4/3/26.

Silver Street, Ely

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic &

Temporary Revocation Of One-Way Traffic Order – Order 2026-10459

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Silver Street, Ely as lies

between Parade Lane & St Marys Street. During the period this Order remains

in force The County of Cambridgeshire (Various Streets, Ely) (One-Way Traffic)

(Consolidation) Order 1979. Save as provided in article 3 of this Order no

persons shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in any of the roads

or lengths of road specified in column 1 of the schedule to this Order in

a direction other than that specified in relation to those roads or lengths

of road, as the case may be, in column 2 of the said schedule. Column 1:

Silver Street. Column 2: From southeast to northwest is hereby suspended

insofar as it affects Silver Street, Ely as lies between its junctions with

Parade Lane & Back Hill. The alternative route for vehicles is via St Marys

St; Cambridge Rd C315; Barton Rd; Back Hill; Silver St & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas connection & associated

works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come

into operation on 2/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on

the 1/9/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will

be carried out between 2/3 & 4/3/26.

Footpaths Around Sycamore Lane & Mulberry Way, Ely

Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-10468

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Footpaths Around Sycamore

Lane and Mulberry Way, Ely, as lies between Nos 9 & 16. The alternative

route for pedestrians will be as signed. The proposed Order is necessary

to facilitate telecommunications & associated works which are being

carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on

23/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 22/9/26

whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried

out between 09:30hrs & 15:30hrs 23/9/26.

Silver Street, Burwell

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10469

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Silver Street, Burwell as lies

between The Causeway C221 & North Street. The alternative route for

vehicles is via The Causeway C221; North St C221; North St & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gully cleaning & associated

works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come

into operation on 9/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on

the 8/9/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will

be carried out between 9/3 & 11/3/26.

The Causeway C221, Burwell

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10470

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along The Causeway C221, Burwell

as lies between B1102 & Hythe Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is

via Hythe Ln; Low Rd; Parsonage Ln; B1102 & vice versa. The proposed

Order is necessary to facilitate gully cleaning & associated works which

are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation

on 18/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/9/27

whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried

out between 18/3 & 20/3/26.

Cam Drive, Ely

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10483

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Cam Drive, Ely as lies between

Damson Avenue & Lynn Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Lynn

Rd; Egremont St; B1411; Cam Dr & vice versa. The proposed Order is

necessary to facilitate S278 & associated works which are being carried

out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/3/26 &

continue until these works have finished or on the 31/8/27 whichever is

the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between

2/3 & 31/3/26.

Soham Footpath 101, Soham

Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-10492

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Soham Footpath 101,

Soham as lies between 20m either side of the railway crossing gates

or barriers. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. The

proposed Order is necessary for public safety & it will come into operation

on 4/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 3/9/26

whichever is the earlier.

Various Roads, East

Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10481

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along various roads, as set out in

Schedule 1 below. Nothing in this Order shall prevent access & egress

from premises or land adjacent to the highway mentioned in Schedule 1.

The Order is necessary for safety reasons to facilitate footway slurry sealing

& associated works. The proposed Order will come into operation on

1/3/26 & will continue until these works have finished or on the 31/8/27

whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that this order will apply to the

locations, at various times during the dates specified in the Schedule.

Access will be maintained to properties affected by these orders. The above

orders shall not apply to any persons lawfully engaged in connection with

any works for which these are made, any member of the Police Force, Fire

& Rescue Service, Ambulance Service, a vehicle being used by Special

Forces during the execution of their duties or to any person acting with the

permission or upon the direction of a Police Officer in uniform.
