What is happening?

BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL

(Park Road, Bracknell) (Temporary Prohibition Of Driving) Order 2025

Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from travelling along:

a) Park Road, Bracknell in both directions between the junctions of Dashwood Close and Jigs Lane South.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be via: Park Road, Deepfield Road, Bay Road and this route reversed.

The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while work is undertaken to remove a large tree.

The proposed Order will come into operation on the 8th April 2026, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place on the 8th April 2026 - 8th April 2026. This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
