Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych wedi gwneud Gorchymyn sy’n gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio’r rhanau hynny o ffordd yn Sir Ddinbych a nodir isod:-
1. Brook Street, Llangollen; sy’n ymestyn tua’r de o’i gyffordd a Horseshoe Pass View i’w gyffordd gyda Phengwern
2. Pengwern, Llangollen; sy’n ymestyn tua’r dwyrain o bwynt 20 metr i’r de orllewin o’i gyffordd â Brook Street i bwynt 20 metr i’r de ddwyrain o’r un gyffordd.
Mae angen cau’r ffordd er mwyn i Gyngor Sir Ddinbych allu ymgymryd â gwaith Teithio Llesol.
Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.
Bydd arwyddion i nodi’r ffordd amgen drwy Bengwern, Bache Mill Road, Heol y Bryn, A5 a Brook Street.
Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 24 Chwefror 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi’i gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith bara tan tua 30 Ebrill 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER

VARIOUS ROADS, LLANGOLLEN
NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)
Denbighshire County Council has made an Order prohibiting vehicles using the lengths of road in the County of Denbigh stated below:-
1. Brook Street, Llangollen; which extends southward from its junction with Min y Coed to its junction with Pengwern
2. Pengwern, Llangollen; which extends eastward from a point 20 metres southwest of its junction with Brook Street to a point 20 metres south east of that same junction.
The closure is necessary to facilitate Active Travel works by Denbighshire County Council.
Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.
The alternative route will be via Pengwern, Bache Mill Road, Hill Street, A5 and Brook Street as signposted on site.
The Order is effective from 24th February 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 30th April 2026.
