New Alresford - Temporary Road Closures due to Gas Mains Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES – ROSEBERY ROAD & SALISBURY ROAD, NEW ALRESFORD, WINCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
1. Rosebery Road between its junction with B3046 Jacklyns Lane and a point approximately 95 Metres North of said junction.
2. Salisbury Road between its junction with B3046 Jacklyns Lane and a point approximately 70 Metres North of said junction.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: B3046, Grange Road
DURATION OF ORDER: from 20th February 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closures will be required for no longer than 15 days, and in operation for 24 hours a day).
The road closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for I&G Contractors to carry out gas mains works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: Kacirussell@igcontractorsltd.com
I&G Contractors will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
