ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984 – SECTION 14(1)
AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT, 1991 WALSALL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) (VARIOUS ROADS, WALSALL) ORDER No.1 MARCH 2026

Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicles proceeding in the lengths of:

ALBION STREET, WILLENHALL that is situated from its junction with B4464 Walsall Road to its junction with Squires Gate Road. (09:30 – 15:30, Monday 2 March 2026 to Wednesday 4 March 2026).
Reason for Order: New ducting.
Works on behalf of: Openreach.
KIPLING ROAD, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with Milton Close for a distance of approximately 35 metres in a southerly direction. (Monday 2 March 2026 to Friday 6 March 2026).
Reason for Order: Gas main renewal.
Works on behalf of: Cadent.
MILESTONE WAY, WILLENHALL that is situated at its junction with A462 Essington Road. (Monday 2 March 2026 to Monday 16 March 2026).
Reason for Order: Gas main renewal.
Works on behalf of: Cadent.
BUTTS ROAD, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with Hatherton Street to its junction with Cecil Street. (10:00 – 14:00, Tuesday 3 March 2026).
Reason for Order: Repair defective frame and cover.
Works on behalf of: Severn Trent Water.
STATION ROAD, PELSALL that is situated from its junction with Victoria Road to the entrance to The Railway Public House car park. (09:00 – 18:00, Tuesday 3 March 2026 to Thursday 5 March 2026).
Reason for Order: Chamber works in carriageway and footway.

BIRMINGHAM ROAD SERVICE ROAD, ALDRIDGE for its entire length. (07:00 Monday 9 March 2026 to 17:00 Sunday 12 April 2026).
Reason for Order: Mains water pipe works.

GAYDON ROAD, ALDRIDGE from its junction with Birmingham Road Service Road to its junction with Meadow Road. (07:00 Monday 9 March 2026 to 17:00 Sunday 12 April 2026).

LICHFIELD ROAD, SHELFIELD from its junction with Pelsall Lane to its junction with Spring Road. (20:00 Thursday 12 March 2026 to 06:00 Friday 13 March 2026)
Reason for Order: Carriageway patching.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.

This Order will come into operation on Monday 2 March 2026. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
