Norfolk County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, hereby give notice that:

i) THEY PROPOSE TO MAKE Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders in respect of the following roads:

BODHAM – C528 The Street from 150m southeast of its junction with Hart Lane for 40m south-eastwards to facilitate erection of scaffolding from 23rd February to 13th March 2026 (may continue until 24th April 2026). Alternative route is via: C528 The Street/Church Road/Beckham Palace Road, C308 Mill Road, C63 Red Barn Lane, C623 Gibbet Lane, A148 Holt Road/Cromer Road (East Beckham, Gresham, Upper Sheringham, West Beckham, Bodham). CAWSTON – U57112 Perrys Lane from 60m south of its junction with Aylsham Road for 30m southwards to facilitate replacement of water supply works from 23rd to 25th February 2026 (may continue until 8th April 2026). Alternative route is via: B1145 Aylsham Road, Old Friendship Lane, Perrys Lane. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

CROMER – High Street from its junction with Jetty Street for 56m north-westwards to facilitate renovation works from 23rd February 2026 to 30th March 2026 (may continue until 30th September 2026). Alternative route is via: High Street, New Street, A149 Prince of Wales Road/Hamilton Road/Church Street/Mount Street/Upon Road. The works promoter is J P Cromer.

GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD – C874 Plumstead Road for 20m each side of railway level crossing to facilitate rail crossing inspection works between 22:00 on 22nd February 2026 and 06:00 on 23rd February 2026 (may continue until 6th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Plumstead Road, Plumstead Road East, Woodside Road, Salhouse Road, A1270 Broadland Northway, Thorpe End Drive (Rackheath, Sprowston, Thorpe St Andrew, Great and Little Plumstead). GREAT AND LITTLE PLUMSTEAD & BLOFIELD – U59282 School Road/All Road from 150m west of its junction with Woodbastwick Road westwards to 30m west of its junction with Witton Lane to facilitate installation of new fibre network for BDUK works from 23rd February 2026 to 14th March 2026 (may continue until 25th April 2026). Alternative routes are via: Main Diversion – School Road, Salhouse Road, Post Office Road, Dyes Road, Woodbastwick Road. GREAT YARMOUTH – Herring Bridge from its junction with South Denes Road for 400m westwards to facilitate a bridge inspection between 20:00 and 06:00 from 24th to 25th February 2026 (may continue until 8th April 2026). Alternative route is via: South Denes Road, South Quay, Hall Quay, Haven Bridge, Bridge Road, Southtown Road, William Adams Way, Herring Bridge. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

GREAT YARMOUTH – North Drive from its junction with C628 Barnard Avenue for 1000m northwards to facilitate works associated with filming on or near the road to take place between 11:00 and 15:00 on 27th February 2026 (may continue until 10th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Howe Road, North Drive, Barnard Avenue, Beatty Road. The works promoter is Unforgotten Productions Ltd.

LITTLE SNORING – Kettlestone Road from its junction with The Warren for 66m north-westwards to facilitate installation of electrical cable works from 23rd February 2026 to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Kettlestone Road, Thursford Road, The Hill, C317 The Street, A148 Holt Road (Kettlestone, Little Snoring). The works promoter is ESP Electricity Limited.

NEATISHEAD – U19076 King Street from its junction with U19071 School Road to its junction with U19682 Water Lane to facilitate installation of new duct with cables and chamber to facilitate cabling works for the network infrastructure from 23rd February 2026 to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). Alternative route is via: School Road, School Lane, The Street, Irstead Road, Hall Road, Long Road, Water Lane (Barton Turf, Neatishead). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks Ltd.

SHERINGHAM – Beeston Road from its junction with Robertson Close for 76m northwards to facilitate a railway bridge inspection between 21:00 and 06:00 from 23rd to 24th February 2026 (may continue until 7th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Beeston Road, A149 Cromer Road, Church Street, High Street, Wyndham Street. The works promoter is Network Rail.

SWANNINGTON WITH ALDERFORD AND LITTLE WITCHINGHAM – C270 Hall Road from its junction with Reepham Road for 90m westwards to facilitate removal of a bellmouth entrance in an adjacent field from 23rd February 2026 to 1st March 2026 (may continue until 12th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Reepham Road, Alderford Common, Fir Covert Road, A1270 Broadland Northway, A1067 Fakenham Road/Norwich Road, Porters Lane, Hall Road (Alderford, Felthorpe, Morton on the Hill, Weston Longville, Taverham, Swannington, Attlebridge, Great Witchingham). SWANTON NOVERS – C367 The Street from 540m north-west from its junction with B1110 Dereham Road for 50m north-westwards to facilitate replacement chamber, cover, and frame works from 23rd to 25th February 2026 (may continue until 8th April 2026). Alternative route is via: C367 The Street, C704 Holt Road, B1110 Dereham Road (Melton Constable, Swanton Novers). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

THORPE ST. ANDREW – A1042 Pound Lane/Ring Road Slip Road (northbound lane only) from 5m north of its junction with A1242 Yarmouth Road roundabout for 160m northwards to facilitate cycle and installation, lining and signing works from 23rd February 2026 to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). Alternative route is via: A1042 Yarmouth Road, A1194 Broadland Way/Poppy Way, A1270 Broadland Northway, A1151 Wroxham Road, A1042 Mousehold Lane/Heartsease Lane/St Williams Way/Ring Road (Rackheath, Sprowston, Thorpe St. Andrew, Postwick with Witton, Great and Little Plumstead). THURSFORD – Heath Plantation Lane from 240m west of its junction with A148 Holt Road for 50m westwards to facilitate replacement chamber/cover/frame works from 23rd to 25th February 2026 (may continue until 8th April 2026). Alternative route is via: C316 Hindringham Road, A148 Holt Road. The works promoter is Anglian Water.

WITTON AND RIDLINGTON (NORTH WALSHAM) – U19178 Thatched Cottage Road from its junction with C419 Beaton Road for 200m north-westwards to facilitate removal of entrance and reinstatement of original condition works from 23rd February 2026 to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Bacton Road, North Walsham Road, Old Hall Road. The works promoter is Vattenfall Wind Power Ltd.

WOOD DALLING – C228 Guestwick Road from 150m west of its junction with Tyby Lane (outside Tyby Farm) for 40m southwards to facilitate scaffolding works from 23rd February 2026 to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). Alternative route is via: Guestwick Road, Wood Dalling Road, Reepham Road, Guestwick Lane, Church Lane, Briston Road, Tyby Lane (Guestwick, Wood Dalling). WORSTEAD – A C273 Westwick Road from its junction with U19240 Obelisk Lane to its junction with C495 Station Road and B C273 Westwick Road from its junction with C495 Station Road to its junction with C397 Whitegate Road to facilitate carriageway patching works from 23rd to 24th February 2026 (may continue until 7th April 2026). BERGH APTON – C373 White Heath Road from 715m southwest of its junction with U76377 Lion Lane for 100m south-westwards to facilitate pole testing and tree trimming between 09:30 and 15:30 on 23rd February 2026 (may continue until 6th April 2026). BRIDGHAM – High Bridgham Road from its junction with the A11 for 300m south-eastwards to facilitate the changing and removal of signs between 21:00 and 05:00 from 24th to 25th February 2026 (may continue until 8th April 2026). CHEDGRAVE – U76342 Big Back Lane from 80m west of its junction with C202 Langley Road for 50 metres south-westwards to facilitate fire hydrant repairs from 23rd to 25th February 2026 (may continue until 8th April 2026). COSTESSEY – U78076 Folgate Lane from its junction with U78082 The Croft for 20m southwards to facilitate water frame and cover repairs from 24th to 26th February 2026 (may continue until 9th April 2026). GRESSENHALL – C242 Longham Road from its junction with U35194 Bushy Common for 150m north-westwards to facilitate the removal of a temporary bell-mouth from 23rd February to 6th March 2026 (may continue until 17th April 2026). KIRBY CANE AND ELLINGHAM – C588 Yarmouth Road from its junction with U7361 Mill Road for 145m westwards to facilitate carriageway repairs from 25th to 26th February 2026 (may continue until 9th April 2026). LYNG – C198 Heath Road from its junction with Hill Paddocks for 30m eastwards to facilitate the installation of a new water connection from 25th to 27th February 2026 (may continue until 10th April 2026). NORTH CREAKE – C98 West Street from its junction with B1355 Burnham Road for 50m westwards to facilitate communication pipe repairs from 24th to 26th February 2026 (may continue until 9th April 2026). FILBY – A1064 Main Road/The Heath from 60m northwest of its junction with C448 Market Lane for 120m south-eastwards to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works between 19:00 and 06:00 from 19th to 21st February 2026 (may continue until 4th April 2026). GORLESTON-ON-SEA – Trinity Avenue from its junction with Kings Road for 60m eastwards to facilitate the relaying of a lead water pipe from 16th to 20th February 2026 (may continue until 3rd April 2026). Alternative route is via: Long Lane, Beccles Road, Crab Lane, Magdalen Way, Trinity Avenue (Bradwell). The works promoter is Essex and Suffolk Water.

GORLESTON-ON-SEA – Middleton Road (northbound only) from its junction with the B1370 Roundabout to its junction with the A47 Roundabout (“Road A”) and various side roads off Middleton Road as follows: 1) Pound Lane, Connaught Avenue, Gloucester Avenue, Peter House Avenue, St Catherines Way and Western Road (the “Side Roads”); and; 2) Pound Lane, Connaught Avenue, Gloucester Avenue, Peterhouse Avenue, St Catherine’s Way and Western Road (the “Left Turn Restriction Roads”) and; 3) Middleton Gardens, Stradbroke Road, Suffield Road, Albermarle Road, Elm Avenue, Elm Grove Road and Poplar Avenue (the “Right Turn Restriction Roads”). The Road A will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) and each of the Side Roads will be temporarily closed (except for pedestrian access) from the side roads junction with Middleton Road for 20 metres westwards, the Left Turn Restriction Roads shall be subject to the imposition of a no left turn restriction from any of the listed Left Turn Restriction Roads into Road A and the Right Turn Restriction Roads shall be subject to the imposition of a no right turn restriction from any of the listed Right Turn Restriction Roads onto Middleton Road to facilitate cycle lane construction works. The restrictions will be in place from 18th February to 31st March 2026 (may continue until 30th September 2026). Nothing in this Order, will prevent construction traffic relating to these works from turning right from Elm Avenue onto Middleton Road. Alternative route is via: Church Road, Beccles Road, Western Bypass, Beaufort Way, Road From Beaufort Way To Woodfarm Lane, Carrel Road, Jenner Road, A47 Gorleston On Sea From Dualling To J B1370 Including Roundabout, Lowestoft Road (Great Yarmouth, Gorleston, Bradwell).
