Local Government Act 1972 – Section 123 (2A)

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that East Riding of Yorkshire Council is proposing to dispose of Land forming part of Hessle Recreation Ground, Livingstone Road, Hessle, HU13 0EG by way of a lease for use of the property for sports and recreation. A plan showing the area is available from sophie.barker@eastriding.gov.uk. Any objections or representation about the proposed sale must be made in writing to the Valuation and Estates Manager, County Hall, Beverley (Ref: SB/2916), to be received no later than 4pm, 11 March 2026. Any objection or representation must state the grounds on which it is made. Any objection or representation made within the time set out in this notice will be considered by the Council before a decision is made as to whether the land will be used for the said purpose.
