Smalley Mill Road - Temporary Road Closure
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
SMALLEY MILL ROAD, HORSLEY
WHEN: 25 February to 04 March 2026 (between 19:00 and 06:00 only; for 5 nights during the date range stated).
WHERE: Smalley Mill Road, Horsley from its Jct. with Lady Lea Road for a distance of approx. 150 metres.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing works. ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Lady Lea Road, Main Street, Wood Lane, Smalley Mill Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
