NOTICE is given that Cambridgeshire County Council intends after 7 days, to make an Order pursuant to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, the effect of which:

St Andrews Street, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Bus Lane – Order 2026-10251

Will be to temporarily suspend the bus lane as lies between Downing Street & Emmanuel Street. During the period this Order remains in force the Order CCC Various Streets, Cambridge, Bus Lanes Order 2024. Contra-flow bus/cycle 
ln: Roads & parts of roads on which any vehicle other than a pedal cycle, electric scooter, bus, hackney carriage or private hire vehicle is prohibited for all hours on all days is hereby suspended. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate footway refurbishment, lining & associated works which are being carried out on or near the bus lane & it will come into operation on 2/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 1/9/27 whichever is the earlier. 

This Order shall be in force when the signs are in place at each end of the above section of road whilst works taking place on St Andrews St, Cambridge are in progress.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 22:00hrs & 05:00hrs 2/3 to 13/3/26.

Thompsons Lane, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10258

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Thompsons Lane, Cambridge as lies between New Park Street & Bridge Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via Bridge St; Magdalene St; A1303; Croft Holme Ln; A1134; Victoria Ave; Jesus Ln; Park St & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate cable jointing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 23/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 22/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23/3 & 27/3/26.

Magdalene Street & Bridge Street, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10267

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Magdalene Street & Bridge Street, Cambridge as lies between A1303 & Thompsons Lane. The alternative route for vehicles is via A1303; A1134; Victoria Ave, Cambridge; Four Lamps Roundabout; Jesus Ln; Bridge Str or Round Church St, Cambridge; Park St; Jesus Ln; Four Lamps Roundabout; Victoria Ave; A1134; A1303 respectively. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate footway resurfacing, bridge waterproofing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 1/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 31/8/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 1/3 & 6/3/26.

Hauxton Road, Little Shelford Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10288

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hauxton Road, Little Shelford as lies between Church Street & Newton Road. The alternative route for vehicles is via Church St; Manor Rd; Bridge Ln; High St; A1301; A1309; A10 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate new gas connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 9/3 & continue until these works have finished or on the 8/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 9/3 & 13/3/26.

Rampton Road, Cottenham Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10298

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Rampton Road, Cottenham as lies between No.113 & Jubilee Drive. The alternative route for vehicles is via Oakington Rd, Cottenham; Oakington Rd, Westwick; Station Rd, Oakington; Water Ln; Dry Drayton Rd; A1307; B1050; Berrycroft, Willingham; Long Ln; Newington & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate carriageway resurfacing & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 30/03/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 29/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 30/3 & 10/04/26.

Bermuda Terrace, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Use – Order 2026-10299

Is to stop any pedestrian from proceeding along Bermuda Terrace, Cambridge as lies between Histon Road & Frenchs Road. The alternative route for pedestrians will be as signed. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas mains replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 23/03/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 22/09/26 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 23/3 & 17/04/26.

Limekiln Road, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10306

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Limekiln Road, Cambridge as lies between Cherry Hinton Caravan Park & 100m south. The alternative route for vehicles is via Cherry Hinton Rd; A1307; Queen Ediths Way & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate pole replacement & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 2/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 1/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 2/3 & 3/3/26.

Black Horse Lane, Swavesey Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10307

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Black Horse Lane, Swavesey as lies between Nos.2 & 15. The alternative route for vehicles is via Black Horse Ln; Taylors Ln; High St & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate install ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 24/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 23/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 24/3 & 1/4/26.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Wallmans Lane, Swavesey as lies between Nos.17 & 21. The alternative route for vehicles is via Wallmans Ln; High St & vice versa.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate ducting installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 23/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 22/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along High Street, Landbeach as lies between Nos.104 & 112. The alternative route for vehicles is via Waterbeach Rd; A10 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate ducting installation & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 2/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 1/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

Sedgwick Street, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic & Sedgwick Street, Cromwell Road & Catharine Street, Cambridge Temporary Revocation Of One-Way Traffic Order – Order 2026-10312

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Sedgwick Street, Cambridge as lies between Nos.95 & 113. During the period this Order remains in force The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993 as amended by The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 62) Order 2018. Section 6 One-way streets Part 2 – Roads & parts of roads in which pedal cycles are permitted to travel in the opposite direction of the one-way street. Catharine Street – Direction of travel except for pedal cycles: From south to north. Cromwell Road (between Catharine Street & Sedgewick Street) – Direction of travel except for pedal cycles: From north to south. 

The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993 as amended by The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993 (Amendment No. 63) Order 2020. Section 6 One-way streets. Sedgewick Street – From a point 54 metres north of its junction with Mill Road – from North to south is hereby suspended insofar as it affects Sedgwick Street, Cromwell Road & Catharine Street, Cambridge as lies between its junctions with Nos.115 & 133; Nos.1 & 25; No.65 & Cromwell Road respectively. The alternative route for vehicles is via St Philips Rd; Vinery Rd; Mill Rd; Cavendish Rd; St Philips Rd. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas disconnection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 24/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 23/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 24/3 & 28/3/26.

Sturton Street, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10313

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Sturton Street, Cambridge as lies between No.141 & Vicarage Terrace. The alternative route for vehicles is via Sturton St; Sleaford St; York St; New St & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas leak repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 18/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 17/9/27 whichever is the earlier.

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hunts Lane, Hinxton as lies between High Street & A1301. The alternative route for vehicles is via High St; North End Rd; A1301 & vice versa. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate electrical connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 16/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 15/3/27 whichever is the earlier. 

It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 16/3 & 20/3/26.

Market Street, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic – Order 2026-10323

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Market Street, Cambridge as lies between Market Hill & Sidney Street. The alternative route for vehicles is via Sidney St, Bridge St, St Johns St, Trinity St, St Marys St. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate ducting & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 19/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 18/9/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 19:00hrs 19/3 & 04:00hrs 22/3/26.

Hills Road & Norwich Street, Cambridge Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic & Temporary Revocation Of One-Way Traffic Order – Order 2026-10333

Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Hills Road, Cambridge as lies between Glisson Road & Bateman Street. During the period this Order remains in force. The City of Cambridge Area A (Consolidation) Order 1993 Section 16: No Entry. Part 2: Roads & parts of roads to which entry except for pedal cycles is prohibited at the location & from the direction stated, Bateman Street (east of Bateman Mews) – At its junction from Bateman Mews from all directions, Bateman Street (east of Francis Passage) – At its junction with Francis Passage from all directions, Bateman Street (east of Panton Street) – At its junction with Panton Street from all directions is hereby suspended. 

The alternative route for vehicles is via A1307; A1134; A603; A1307 & vice versa, The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate manhole repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 16/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 15/9/27 whichever is the earlier. The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate gas connection and associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway and it will come into operation on 30/3/26 and continue until these works have finished or on the 29/9/27 whichever is the earlier. Is to stop any vehicle from proceeding along Wimpole Park Road, Wimpole & Wimpole Park Road, Orwell as lies between Thornberry Hill Farm & A603. The alternative route for vehicles is via Wimpole Park Rd, Wimpole; Old Wimpole Rd, Arrington; A1198; A603 & vice versa. 

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water meter repairs & associated works which are being carried out on or near this highway & it will come into operation on 3/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 2/9/27 whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that these works will be carried out between 3/3 & 5/3/26.

Queen Ediths Way, Cambridge Temporary Suspension Of Cycle Lane – Order 2026-10455

Will be to temporarily suspend the cycle lane as lies between No 107 & Access Road to No 119 Queen Ediths Way. During the period this Order remains in force Order The City of Cambridge Area F Consolidation Order 1993 as amended by The City of Cambridge Area F Consolidation Order 1993 Amendment No. 6 Order 1995. Schedule 22 dual use cycle tracks. Queen Edith’s Way the footway on both sides from its junction with Hills Road to its junction with Cherry Hinton Road is hereby suspended.

The proposed Order is necessary to facilitate water connection & associated works which are being carried out on or near the cycle lane & it will come into operation on 2/3/26 & continue until these works have finished or on the 1/9/27 whichever is the earlier.
