ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 –
SECTION 14(1)
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – BLENKARNE ROAD, SW11
-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an Order to restrict vehicular traffic in Blenkarne Road to facilitate highway works.
-
Whilst the works are taking place, no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, or exit Blenkarne Road at its junction with Bolingbroke Grove

Whilst the Order remains in force alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be available via Thurleigh Road and Blenkarne Road.

The Order will come into operation on the 16 February 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 3 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

The provisions specified in article 2 above shall not apply in respect of:
(i) any vehicle being used for the purposes of those works;
(ii) any vehicle on any occasion when it is being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes if the observance of those provisions would hinder the use of the vehicle;
(iii) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform

PROPOSED DISABLED PERSONS’ PARKING BAY
EARLSFIELD ROAD, SW18

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make the following Orders under section 6 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Traffic Management Act 2004.
• *The Wandsworth (Permit Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. ) Order 202

The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a disabled persons’ parking bay at a point south-west of the common boundary of no 341 and 343 Earlsfield Road

Copies of documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order are available for inspection during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays in the Customer Centre, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London, SW18 2PU. The documents will remain available until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order.

Any person wishing to make a comment about the proposals should send a statement in writing to the Executive Director of Resident Services at the address below within 21 days of the date of this Notice

SECTION 14(1)
TEMPORARY CLOSURE – LONGMEAD ROAD AND MITCHAM ROAD, TOOTING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth has made an Order to restrict vehicular traffic in Longmead Road to facilitate highway resurfacing works.
-
Whilst the works are taking place,
(a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter, or exit Longmead Road at its junction with Mitcham Road;
(b) the one-way working in Longmead Rd and Ashbury Road will be suspended;
(c) parking will be suspended in Longmead Road and Mitcham Road between its junction with Tooting High Street and a point outside No. 42 Mitcham Road;
(d) the public services vehicle ban in Rectory Lane, Tooting will be suspended.

Whilst the Order remains in force a signed alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be available via adjacent streets.

The Order will come into operation on the 14 February 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within 4 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC –
ALGARVE ROAD SW18

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Algarve Road to facilitate Site Development works

Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall enter, proceed or wait along the southeastern footway of Algarve Road from the junction of Earlsfield Road to outside number 1. There will be no waiting at any time

Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

The order will come into operation on 26 February 2026 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 23 October 2026.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Fishponds Road to facilitate Thames Water work.

Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Fishponds Road outside and opposite number 42. There will be no waiting at any time.

Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Magdalen Road to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Magdalen Road at the junction with Garratt Lane. There will be no waiting 22:00–06:00 hours.

Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth proposes to make an order to restrict vehicular movement in Woodbury Street to facilitate Thames Water utility works.

Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed or wait along Woodbury Street on the side of 115 Tooting High Street. There will be no waiting at any time.

Whilst the order remains in force the alternative route for traffic affected by the closure will be appropriately signed.
