Canal Road, Bradford - Temporary Road Closure due to Water Works

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works to be executed on or near Canal Road, Bradford has made the above-named Order the effect of which is that no person shall proceed in the length of Canal Road from its junction with North Brook Street.
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on the said length of road. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the Order are available via Canal Road (unaffected section), Hamme Strasse, Valley Road, Shipley Airedale Road, Canal Road and vice versa.
The Order comes into operation at 23:00 hours on the 19th of February 2026 and remains in force until 05:00 hours on the 20th of February 2026 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
