Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Lyme Regis
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VARIOUS ROADS, LYME REGIS; B3165, LYME REGIS between the entrance to Travis Perkins and the entrance to Sherwood, a distance of approximately 75 metres.
These works are programmed to commence from 18 February 2026 until 20 February 2026.
CLAPPENTAIL LANE, LYME REGIS between its junction with B3165 and a point approximately 165 metres south. These works are programmed to commence from 23 February 2026 until 27 February 2026.
The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 18 February 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 February 2026.
This Order will enable Openreach, safe access to excavate and lay new duct.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Evershot
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along VARIOUS ROADS, EVERSHOT;
THE COMMON, EVERSHOT in its entirety.
FORE STREET, EVERSHOT in its entirety.
WEST HILL, EVERSHOT between its junction with Back Lane and West Hill Farmhouse, a distance of approximately 35 metres.
The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 16 February 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 12 June 2026.
This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out a new sewer resilience scheme.
An alternative route will be signed using; A37 - A356 - Benville Lane - Horsey Knap
