Wawne Road/Holwell Road/Bude Road Roundabout - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic For Roundabout Improvement Works
What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
WAWNE ROAD/HOLWELL ROAD/BUDE ROAD ROUNDABOUT (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Wawne Road, Holwell Road and Bude Road Roundabout, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during roundabout improvement works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will take effect on 2nd March 2026, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between:- Wawne Road, from 2nd March 2026 until 26th August 2026; Holwell Road, from 26th August 2026 until 28th September 2026; and Wawne Road, from 28th September 2026 until 3rd November 2026.
