Temporary Closure Of A354 Monkton Hill, Winterborne Monkton - Night Works
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along A354 MONKTON HILL, WINTERBORNE MONKTON from its junction with Stadium roundabout for a distance to the south of approximately 2730 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 8 March 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 14 March 2026. Works to take place between 2000hrs and 0600hrs.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway surfacing works.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary Traffic Management Order, White Cliff Mill Street, Blandford Forum
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 16th February 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 10th April 2026.
This Order will enable SGN to carry out gas main replacement works.
The effect of the Order is as follows:
[i] To impose a temporary road closure on White Cliff Mill Street, Blandford Forum at the right turn lane outside Westfield Court as indicated by the traffic signs from 16th February 2026 until 27th February 2026.
[ii] To impose a temporary road closure on White Cliff Mill Street, Blandford Forum between Salisbury Street and 4-10 White Cliff Mill Street as indicated by the traffic signs from 30th March 2026 until 10th April 2026;
[iii] To impose a temporary revocation of the one-way Order on White Cliff Mill Street, Blandford Forum between Salisbury Street and Park Road as indicated by the traffic signs from 30th March 2026 until 10th April 2026 to maintain temporary two-way access;
[iv] To impose a temporary clearway and parking suspensions on White Cliff Mill Street, Blandford Forum between Salisbury Street and Park Road and at such times and to such extent as indicated by the traffic signs from 16th February 2026 until 10th April 2026;

The County Of Dorset (White Way, Litton Cheney) (Weight Restriction) (No. ) Order 202
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
The general effect of the order will be to introduce a new 7.5 tonne maximum weight restriction along White Way, Litton Cheney.

Temporary Closure Of B3071, Wool
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along B3071, Wool in two phases as listed; [i] Phase 1 will close B3071, Wool from junction with Breach Field Road to junction with Colliers Lane. The road will be closed from 9th March 2026 until 20th March 2026; [ii] Phase 2 will close B3071, Wool from junction with Colliers Lane to junction with Wood Street. Although the dates overlap the two closures will not be in place at the same time, in addition resident and business access will be maintained throughout the closure. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 9th March 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27th March 2026.
This Order will provide Wessex Internet with safe access to install fibre cabling.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed section.
